Disturbing Gobekli Tepe Update
Head of Field work at GOBEKLI TEPE, Dr. Lee Clare admitted to me in a Twitter convo yesterday that there is NO PLAN to fully excavate the site‼️
AND, he admitted that he doesn’t even want to!!
Gobekli Tepe is one of the oldest and most mysterious ancient sites on earth.
It is absolutely inexcusable to not fully excavate. We will never know what answers to our lost ancient past are waiting to be discovered.
This is INSANE.
